I'm a first-year Ph.D student at the Department of Computer Science, University of Birmingham, supervised by Dr. Hyung Jin Chang and Prof. Ales Leonardis. Prior to the U.K., I obtained my M.Eng. degree (2017-2020) from Tongji University, where I was supervised by Prof. Qirong Tang, and my B.Eng. degree (2013-2017) from Harbin Engineering University.
My research is about Human-Centred Visual Computing. Driven by solving real-world problems, I study Data-efficient Machine (Deep) Learning using techniques such as Vision Transformer, Meta-learning, Un-/Self-/Weakly-supervised Learning to process the visual data. Currently, I am working on 3D Hand-Object Reconstruction, 6D Object Pose Estimation. Also, I am broadly interested in building the 3D Vision System for AR/VR, Autonomous Vehicles and Robotics.
➤ [05/2021]: I will be serving as one of the Technical Committee for Visual Object Tracking (VOT) Challenge at ICCV 2021
➤ [06/2020]: Graduated from Tongji University
